Welcome to Queen City Cornerstone

A structured supportive housing program in Charlotte for veterans and adults working toward stability — a safe place to stay, a plan, and people in your corner while you get your footing.

The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. — Psalm 118:22

Our services

Housing, plus the support that makes it hold

Queen City Cornerstone is a supportive housing program, not a rental. Clients live in shared homes, take part in peer support, and work a plan with us. Here's what everyone in the program gets.

A room to call yours

Furnished, kept up, and warm when you get home. One program fee covers your assigned room and every bill attached to the house.

Peer support

Certified Peer Support Specialists with lived experience — walking it with you, not lecturing you.

Stay connected

Internet strong enough for job applications, court portals, telehealth visits, and calling your people.

Wraparound help

Benefits enrollment, ID and document recovery, treatment referrals, and connections to VA and community resources across Charlotte.

Supportive housing in Charlotte, NC

Who we work with

Whether you're placing a client, holding an empty property, or looking for your own next address — start here.

You're placing someone

VA and SSVF case managers, hospital discharge planners, care coordinators, county agencies, and church-based outreach — if you have someone who needs a safe place and a plan, send it over. You'll hear back within one business day, openings or not.

Make a referral

You own a house sitting empty

Long-term lease, one point of contact, rent that shows up on the first. We take on the properties that are hard to fill and put them back to work — and we maintain them like we intend to stay, because we do.

Talk about your property

You need somewhere to land

Or you love somebody who does. You don't need a caseworker to reach us and it costs nothing to ask. Tell us when you need a place and we'll tell you straight whether we have room.

About us

A house built on second chances

Queen City Cornerstone LLC exists because knowing you need a fresh start is not the same thing as having somewhere to begin one. Too many people — veterans among them — end up with everything they own in one bag and nowhere to set it down, and the first night decides a great deal of what follows.

Our homes are drug- and alcohol-free, staffed by people who have been where our clients are, and open to anyone willing to take part in the program and live by the house agreement. We welcome people of every race, faith, background, and orientation — participation in any faith-based programming is offered, never required.

We are faith-rooted, community-partnered, and stubborn about the belief that the stone everyone else passed over is the one worth building on.
